How does the asset register work in the Asset Manager?

The records are organized into buildings and rooms according to your structure. Each asset has its own card with detailed information, a QR code for quick identification and you can add attachments or photos. The system supports categories and asset types for better organization.

How does inventory management work with QR codes?

You print QR tags directly from the app, stick them on your assets and scan them with your mobile phone or wireless reader during inventory. The app automatically records the scanned items and displays the differences.

Can I import data from Excel?

Yes, the application supports bulk import of rooms. We will be happy to help you with the transfer of property.

Does the application support depreciation of assets?

Yes, you can record both tax and accounting depreciation. The system allows you to create depreciation schedules and track asset write-downs.

What are the functions for revisions and maintenance?

You can set up revisions individually or in bulk for asset categories. The system will notify you by email 14 days before the revision expires. Employees can report revision requests directly from the app.

What is asset management?

Asset management is a systematic overview of all tangible and intangible assets of an organization. It includes information about acquisition, location, condition, depreciation and lifecycle of each item. Proper asset management enables efficient planning, cost control and compliance with legal requirements during inventory.

What is the difference between asset management in Excel and specialized software?

Excel is a universal tool that lacks key asset management features: automatic depreciation, QR codes for inventory, change history tracking, access rights management and automatic revision alerts. Specialized software like Asset Manager includes these features and significantly saves time while reducing errors.

Technical questions

Is a special reader for QR codes required?

No, you can use your mobile phone camera. For faster work, we recommend a wireless reader that you can connect via Bluetooth or USB docking station and then work with the reader wirelessly.

Does the app work on mobile phones?

Yes, the app is web-based and works in any modern browser, including mobile phones. We recommend browsers based on Chrome (Chrome, Edge).

Are press kits available?

Yes, the application offers various print reports including inventory lists, classification/disposition reports, asset cards and a special annual change sheet for auditors.

How much time will I save during inventory?

With QR codes and mobile app, you can inventory a room in minutes instead of hours. Our users report 70-90% time savings compared to traditional paper-based inventory. For larger organizations, this represents dozens of hours saved annually.

How much does a Asset Manager license cost?

Administrator costs 200 CZK per month without VAT, User costs 40 CZK per month without VAT or for schools Administrator costs 200 CZK per month without VAT and teacher account costs 10 CZK per month without VAT. For schools we offer discounted prices with a maximum of 1000 CZK per month excluding VAT for the whole organisation.

Does the app support multiple users?

Yes, you can create users with different roles and permissions. Each user can only see what they have access to according to the rights they have set.

Support

Is the system cloud-based?

Yes, the app runs in the cloud, so you don't need any installation. Just open your browser and log in. Automatic backups are part of the service.

Can I print QR labels?

Yes, you can print QR labels directly from the browser or order printing from us for 0.8 CZK without VAT per label. We recommend Zebra printer and labels 50x25 mm.

Is Asset Manager suitable for schools and public institutions?

Yes, the application is specially adapted to the needs of schools and public institutions. We offer discounted prices for educational facilities, support required print reports (inventory lists, protocols) and allow division of permissions between housekeepers, teachers and management.

How is my data secured?

Data is stored on secure servers in the EU with regular backups. Communication takes place via encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to data is controlled by a system of user roles and permissions. We comply with GDPR requirements and handle personal data processing in accordance with applicable regulations.
